Where are the most beautiful beaches in Barcelona

Barceloneta beach
between the old and Olympic port

Nova Icària beach
At the foot of the olimpic port
Side by side with Barcelona's Olympic port, Nova Icària beach is close to a multitude of bars and restaurants located at the foot of the port.
Clean and supervised, Nova Icària beach can be reached via metro line 4, Ciutadella Vila Olimpica station.
Bogatell beach
Quiet beach
In contrast TO previous beaches, Bogatell is not overcrowded with bars and restaurants.
Its 650 metres of quiet, supervised beach, with a young atmosphere, make it an ideal place for sportsmen and women.
To get to Bogatell beach by metro: metro Poblenou or Llacuna - line (4).
Mar bella beach
Animated beach
Rhythmed by the music of the chiringuitos (beach bars), Mar bella (Barcelona's) beach is very lively and is a favourite spot for nudist lovers and the gay population.
500 metres of playgrounds, sand and lawn areas are accessible via the Poblenou and Selva Mar metro stations on line 4.

From Barceloneta to the Forum, with more or less distance to reach them on foot, the line 4 runs along the coast and provides access to the beaches.
Barcelona beaches by bus
The bus lines 36, 45, 59 run along the Passeig maritim and take you to Barcelona's Olympic Port, giving you a choice of some of Barcelona's most beautiful beaches.
Access to the beaches by car
To reach Barcelona's beaches by car, drive to Avenida del Litoral and take Hotel Arts as your landmark, located between Barceloneta and Nova Icària.
