    How to reach the airport from Plaça Espanya
    To get to Barcelona airport from Plaça Espanya, you can choose between metro, bus and cab.
    - To reach one of the airport's terminals by metro, follow the line 1 in the direction of Hospital de Bellvitge to Torrassa station, then continue with line 9 (Barcelona airport metro line) and follow it to the terminal of your choice ;
    - To get to the airport from Plaça Espanya by bus, you can either take the 46 bus, which runs back and forth between Plaça Espanya and the airport, or the aerobus shuttle which runs from Plaça Catalunya to the airport through Plaça Espanya.

    From Espanya to Sagrada Familia

    How to get to the Sagrada Familia from Plaça Espanya
    There are several ways to get to the Sagrada Familia by metro from Plaça Espanya.
    - You can follow the line L3 to Sants Estacio station, where you'll find the blue line (L5) and follow it to the Sagrada Familia stop.
    - Alternatively, you can take the L3 line to the Paral-lel stop and continue with the L2 line, which also takes you to the foot of the famous Sagrada Familia.
    - From Plaça Espanya, you also have access to the L1 metro line, which you can follow to the Universitat stop, where you'll find the L2 line.

    From Espanya to the Rambla

    How to get from the Plaça Espanya metro station to the Ramblas
    To get to Barcelona's Ramblas from Plaça Espanya, you can choose between lines 1 and 3 (red and green).
    By taking the L1 line, you'll need to head towards Fondo and exit at Catalunya; you'll arrive at the top of the Ramblas, at the foot of Plaça Catalunya.
    Following the L3 (green) line, head towards Trinitat Nova to exit at one of the 3 metro stations along the Ramblas : Drassanes which takes you to the old port, Liceu which takes you to the middle of the Ramblas near the Liceu theater and La Boqueiria, or Catalunya, which like line 1 takes you to Plaça de Catalunya at the top of the Ramblas.

    From Espanya to the beaches

    How to get to Barcelona's beaches from Espanya station
    To get to Barcelona's beaches from Plaça Espanya metro station, you'll need to change line at Passeig de Gracia station.
    First, follow the line 1 towards Fondo to get off at Urquinaona metro station. Then take the yellow line 4 towards La Pau and get off at Ciutadella Vila Olimpica metro station. Then head towards the Olympic port, where Barcelona's beaches can be found on either side.

    From Espanya to Fira

    How to get to the Hospitalet Fira from Espanya
    If you need to get to the Fira de l'Hospitalet del Llobregat to attend the annual trade show dedicated to the mobile communications industry (MWC Barcelona), simply take one of the S3, S4, S8, S9, R5, R50, R6, or R60 lines of the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) trains and get off at the Europa Fira stop.
