Thanks to Barcelona metro line 3 (green line) you can, among other things, get off at "Lesseps" to reach the very famous Guell Park, as well as the "Drassanes" station which leads to many tourist sites such as the Rambla, the old port, the viewpoint of Colon, and many others.

Built with standard track spacing, and stations with distinctive architectural and artistic characteristics, the Barcelona metro Line 3, designated by L3 and known as "Línia verda" (the green line), has an interesting and complex history ;
it is an integral part of the city's transport network.
After 4 years of works, in parallel with those of the line 1, the first section of the line L3 linking Plaça de Catalunya and Lesseps stations was inaugurated in 1924.
Through the decades, the line has been progressively extended, reaching various neighbourhoods of the city and responding to the evolution of transport needs.
During the decades between 1970 and 2000 , the line L3 has undergone several major extensions, extending its influence in the city, and was modernised several times over the years, with the introduction of new trains and the updating of signalling and safety systems.
The line L3, one of the most travelled lines of the network, not only offers connections with other metro lines, regional train, bus and tram lines, making it easier to enjoy integrated mobility in and around the city, but also access to major districts and major tourist attractions such as the Ramblas, Port Vell, Park Guell or the University Zone.
With its rich history and constant evolution, the Line 3 of the Barcelona metro illustrates the evolution of urban transport in a dynamic metropolis ; it is essential not only for the day-to-day life of residents but also for the experience of tourists visiting the city.
